Meet New World Poker Tour Hottie Courtney Friel

Last year, the roar from the final table at the WPT Bellagio Classic was tremendous. However one WPT roar eclipsed it... the collective groan and subsequent sobbing of poker dorks everywhere as WPT hostess with more than most Shana Hiatt not only got married, but quit the WPT hostess job.

Now that the felt has dried from the onslaught of emotion, WPT has announced Shana Hiatt's replacement, the deluscious Courtney Friel. Courtney, holds a BA in Political Science (with a minor in Broadcast Journalism) as well as a stacked deck. She's 1/2 Miss America and 1/2 Diane Sawyer, and surely will interject some 'journalistic integrity' into the WPT bimbette role vacated by Hiatt.

Courtney is a native Philadelphian, just shy of 26 years old, a Taurus on the Aries cusp, enjoys skydiving, surfing, traveling, sushi and poker in the rear. In addition to traipsing around the world with Vince, Mike and the WPT crew, Ms. Friel is a reporter for the CBS affiliate in Palm Springs, California.
