Michael Jackson's once lofty financial situation has continued to spiral out of control, igniting further rumor that MJ will resurrect his tarnished career on a Vegas stage near you.

The latest rounds of rumors started to fly when Colony Capital - owners of the Las Vegas Hilton among other casino properties worldwide - bought out MJ's loan on Neverland Ranch, saving it from foreclosure.

So will MJ set up shop at the Hilton when Barry Manilow's contract expires in 2008?

Possibly a better question is, would you be more or less inclined to visit the Hilton if Michael Jackson was performing there regularly?

No. By the way, it's a wonder he's not trying for a long term engagement at Circus-Circus or Excalibur.

Barry Manilow's contract is through 2009. It was announced earlier this year. Is there room at the Hilton for both? Can the Hilton buy out Manilow's contract? Just some questions to ponder.

Respectfully, auto-starting music is a PiTA. I'm sitting at work on my laptop and MJ starts blaring. Embarrassing!

My fault. Should've had the volume down, but still... Little help!

To answer the question at hand, it wouldn't affect my decision one way or the other. My chances of visiting LVH for anything than the soon-to-be-exiting Star Trek exhibit are slim to none.

With his star power wouldn't he get paid a lot more if he went to a big strip property like Wynn or Caesars and then pay of Colony Capital???????????
