Stay at Mandarin Oriental For Cheap!
Kind of.
I know, I know. We can't shut up about Mandarin Oriental (there's a "We 'Fan' MO" joke in here somewhere), but with those gorgeous rooms, promises of stellar service, and enticing offers quietly being introduced, what's there not to fan love.
As some may recall us mentioning, they've got the delicious two for one offer (click on "We Fan Vegas") from now through February. That brings weekdays down to $212 and weekends as low as $228. Watch out, Motel32.
But maybe you're just looking to spend one night and are willing to drop some coin on dining and spa charges. Look no further than the "Luxury Festive and Winter Breaks" package (same link as above). It's a little deceiving - it says the price starts at $545 per night. Not true. In fact, pricing for weekdays AND weekends is as low as $345. Not ready to book just yet? How about if they throw in $200 worth of food and spa credits? Tempting...
Hurry, because stays after December 30th only get $150 in credit. Still a damn good price, though.

It appears they were (are still?) planning on normal pricing of around $350/night. While the rooms look great and they have a loyal fan base, I am guessing they will be in-line with Encore pricing w/i 6 months.
I checked out their reservation page with the resort credit offer, and I only got $150.00 per day offered even though it was before Dec. 30th. I didn't bother calling them up, because I was planning on spending the credit on spa usage, but after I saw their spa treatment price list-which is up on their site now-I was a bit disappointed. That spa is pricey, but I'm guessing MO is trying to separate itself from the other spas because their treatments and massages pricing start at 80min, not 30 or 60 like the others.
re: cmcriendo.
MO spas are among the best hotel spas in the world. The level of service and exclusivity is very high. For example, here in New York they can polish your shoes and press your clothes while you are relaxing at the spa. Then, once you are done, you can find your shoes and clothes ready in your locker. MO also have a few signature services that you will only find at their spas.
