The editors of VegasTripping have decided that all of these ridiculous comp card club programs suck ass. Frankly, the offers they send just don't make any sense. For example, you play at Bellagio at a semi-decent level, not high roller, not a grinder... a month or three later the Players Club sends you offers for freeb rooms at Mirage. Excellent! A week later, you get a 'special deal at New York New York - $89 mid-week, $129 weekend standard deluxe' room. Huh? I'm getting freebs at Mirage, but lousy discount offers for New York New York? C'mon guys, spend some of that money to develop a REAL algorithm for your comp club. At least Harrah's says 'you've got X comps that you can use at property A, B, C, or D' and you can mix and match as best suits you. The downside is that you have to play at Harrah's which is a quicker losing proposition than most other casinos.
